Katie Fowler is an organizational development specialist with over ten year’s experience in higher education, non-profits, and international development. Throughout her career, Katie has specialized in helping organizations transform through strategy development, process improvement, change management, and most importantly, cultivating the capacity of the people within the organization.
With a focus on strategically assisting organizations to address systemic challenges through the lens of diversity and inclusion and trauma, Katie seeks to create more inclusive spaces that will simultaneously celebrate multiculturalism and allow for organizational growth.
Katie earned a Ph.D. from the University at Buffalo where her doctoral work centered on a systems analysis of the development, implementation, and distribution of national policies in Tanzania. Her doctoral work combined with a M.A. and B.A. in Anthropology has provided her with a unique background in understanding the role of culture and people when addressing challenges and initiating change to systems and organizations. Additionally, she is certified in Instructional Design, E-Learning Instructional Design and holds a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt and White Belt.
